Monitor and investigate fraudulent activities

• Analyze transactions, user behavior, and operational data to detect fraud patterns.
• Investigate suspicious accounts, trips, payments, promotions, or driver/rider activities.
• Conduct clarification with drivers
• Perform root cause analysis on fraud incidents.
• Determine how fraud occurred and assess its impact on the business.

Analyze datasets

• Use SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases.
• Use Excel to clean, organize, and analyze datasets for investigations and reporting.

Identify fraud trends and patterns

• Detect emerging fraud schemes by recognizing unusual behaviors and anomalies.
• Develop hypotheses based on data analysis and validate findings.

Provide actionable recommendations

• Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations for fraud prevention.
• Suggest improvements to fraud detection rules, policies, or operational processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Communicate technical findings in a way that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
• Work with other department to implement, mitigate, clarifies.

Support fraud prevention initiatives

• Help develop and optimize fraud detection rules, and monitoring processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing fraud controls and recommend enhancements.

Make data-driven decisions

• Review and give verdict for fraud clarification

Conduct implementation and compliance

• Monitor compliance implementation from Operations Team
• Conduct deduction for fraudulent activities

Kualifikasi

- Proficiency in SQL and spreadsheets Excel

- Minimum 2 Years of experience as Fraud analyst, Risk Analyst, or similar role (Ride hailing / Transportation industry is preferred)

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with solid business acumen and judgment

- Good communication skills — able to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Demonstrated ability to identify patterns, ‘cook’ data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations

- Having a keen attention to details

- Experience conducting fraud investigations and making informed decisions based on evidence and data analysis.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

- Comfortable communicating directly with drivers, or other stakeholders to conduct fraud clarifications and investigations
