Handle end-to-end business development for commodities such as agricultural products, food & beverages, spices, fertilizers, or industrial raw materials, Marine and Fishery Products, etc.
Monitor global and domestic market trends (pricing, demand-supply, seasonality) to identify opportunities
Develop and execute pricing, sourcing, and market strategies based on market intelligence and industry trends
Establish and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and buyers across domestic and international markets.
Build, manage, and continuously expand a strong network within the commodity ecosystem (suppliers, traders, exporters, processors)
Conduct regular field visits to sourcing areas to strengthen relationships and ensure supply continuity
Drive and execute commercial deals and negotiations, ensuring sustainable margins, risk control, and long-term partnership value.
Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution from sourcing to delivery
Ensure proper documentation and understanding of all trade-related documents (contracts, shipping, and export-import shipping inspection) to support smooth transaction execution.
Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to support business growth
Kualifikasi
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related fields
Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in business development or sales within commodities such as agricultural products, food & beverages, spices, fertilizers, or industrial raw materials, Marine and Fishery Products, etc.
Demonstrated track record of closing high value deals and consistently exceeding revenue or volume targets
Strong, active network across the commodity ecosystem (suppliers, traders, mills, buyers)
Deep understanding of commodity pricing, market movements, and all trade related documents (contracts, shipping, and export-import documents)
Good communication, negotiation, presentation, interpersonal, and sales skills
Highly target-driven with strong accountability for results.
Self-starter, proactive in identifying and pursuing opportunities, and maintains strong performance under tight deadlines and business targets
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
Willing to travel extensively and be on the ground to secure deals
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
